Welcoming Ayana: A Day of Hands-On Learning

At our architecture studio, we value the opportunity to share our work with aspiring architects. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Ayana, a work experience student from France, for a day of learning and creativity.

A Day of Creative Exploration

Ayana joined us for a day and immediately brought a fresh perspective to our studio. We started with tracing paper sketching, where she quickly demonstrated a keen eye for detail. Her enthusiasm and curiosity were evident as she contributed to our design process.

Biodiversity and Sustainable Design

One of the key areas Ayana explored was the integration of biodiversity into architectural design. We discussed how buildings can enhance their surroundings and contribute to ecological balance. Ayana's sketches reflected thoughtful consideration of sustainability, which is central to our work.

Crafting a Physical Model

In the afternoon, Ayana got hands-on experience in our model-making workshop. Working on a physical model of a proposed building, she saw firsthand how initial concepts are transformed into tangible designs. This practical session provided valuable insights into the spatial and structural aspects of architecture.

The Importance of Work Experience

Hosting work experience students like Ayana is important to us. It provides a glimpse into the architectural profession and helps students develop practical skills that complement their academic learning. Additionally, students bring fresh ideas and perspectives that can inspire our team and challenge us to think differently.

Looking Forward

We were delighted to have Ayana with us for the day and believe her experience here will be a positive step in her architectural journey. We look forward to welcoming more students in the future, continuing our commitment to education and the growth of the architectural field.

Thank you, Ayana, for your enthusiasm and contributions during your time with us. We wish you all the best in your future studies and career.

Stay tuned for more updates from our studio and insights into our projects. If you or someone you know is interested in a work experience opportunity, please get in touch.
